Praneet Bhat
Praneet Bhat is an Indian television actor best known for his role as Shakuni in epic TV series Mahabharat.
Early life
Bhat was born on the 26th September 1980 and grew up in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. After completing his engineering and worked with a software company, Wipro for a while.
Career
He shifted to Mumbai in 2002, and after modelling for a while, Praneet started his television career in 2004, and went on to do TV show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV India in 2004. It was his ticket to showbiz. He was earlier seen in the TV shows like 'Hotel Kingston', Kituu Sabb Jaantii Hai, Shhh..Phir
Koi Hai and Kaajjal. He has worked in various departments of film-making and has been a professional theater actor. He has also done theatres and thinks that acting in Theatre is quite different than acting in television shows.
He first received fame after playing the geeky character of Aditya (Adi) in Geet (2010–2011). [5][5][7] He bagged the role of Shakuni in the mythological saga Mahabharat.The character of Shakuni does not have one eye, hence Praneet is always supposed to keep his one eye closed while acting. In September
2014, he became one of the contestants of eighth season of reality show Bigg Boss.
Awards
He was nominated at the 2014 Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role.
